I have always loved date squares and somehow they would never turn out properly as luck would have it Nan (mom) made fantastic squares. She would always call me over for tea and a great gab session plus my favorite dessert. Finally she showed me what I was doing wrong so I could make my own. I must say the calls continued and the treats were always different but the conversation of this gentle ,kind loving woman was the most important part of the tea sessions . I will miss her greatly and know she will look down to make sure my date squares turn out properly . Till we meet again Love you.
