Goulais, Levina (née Commanda) 1931-2018
The family announces with sorrow her death in Sturgeon Falls on Wednesday March 28th, 2018 at the age of 86 years. Daughter of the late Bernard Commanda and of the late Rose Commanda (née Penasse). Wife of the late Harold Goulais. Dear mother of Claire Goulais of North Bay. Predeceased by her daughter Margaret Stevens (David of Sturgeon Falls) and by her sons Gerald Goulais and Francis Goulais. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her 5 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her siblings Joseph Orville Commanda, Victor Commanda, Stella McCleod, Madeline Lariviere, Irene Commanda and Theodore Commanda. Family will receive friends at the Théorêt Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls on Wednesday April 4th, 2018 from 2p.m. to 4p.m. and from 7p.m. to 9p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday April 5th, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Holy Spirit Church, Garden Village.
