Côté, Orize (née Monette) 1920 - 2017
It is with great sadness that the family of Orize Côté announces her death in Sturgeon Falls, Saturday, December 30th, 2017 at the age of 97 years. Daughter of the late Wilfred Monette and of the late Exilda (née Bottineau) Monette. Predeceased by her husband Lucien Côté. Loving mother of Marc (Flore) and Jeanne Montpellier (late André) both of Verner, Marcelle Lajeunesse (Gérard) of Cornwall, Suzanne Gabrych (William) of Timmins, René (Chantal) of Casselman and Denis (Jean) of London. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her 16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Sister of Leonard and Raymond Monette and Geraldine Cowperthwaite. Predeceased by her siblings Roland and Wilfred Monette, Florence Mitchell, Lucy Perreault and Gloria Larochelle. Family will receive relatives and friends at St Jean-Baptiste Church, 27 Principale Street, Verner, Saturday, January 20th, 2018 after 10 am. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 am.
