Goulet, Eliane (née Cazabon) 1928-2017
Surrounded by her family, Eliane passed away in Sturgeon Falls, on December 22nd 2017, at the age of 89 years. Daughter of the late Andy Cazabon and of the late Flore Cazabon (née Legendre). Wife of the late Maurice Goulet. Dear mother of Ginette Secord (late Robert Poirier) (Bryan), Jocelyn (Claude Lessard), Francine Chenette (Wayne) and of Julie Goulet (late Guy Migneault). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Philippe Poirier (Nathalie), Josée Poirier, Yvan Poirier (Chantal), Amy Chenette, Pamela Chenette-Leveiller (Alain) and Jenny Migneault as well as her great-grandchildren Camille, Marlo, Nolan, Isabelle, Leah, Alexendra and Jérémie. Sister of Marcel (late Emilienne), Gilles and Maurice (Marcelle). Predeceased by her siblings Camille, Théophile, Alcide, Lucien, Alphonse, Valmore, Florence, Juliette and Thérèse. Eliane was the sister-in-law of many in the Goulet family as well as being the aunt of many nieces and nephews. She leaves behind many friends, most notably Rose, whom she called her little sister. Thank you, Joanne, for your presence. The family wishes to thank Dr. André Behamdouni and his team at the West Nipissing General Hospital for their care and compassion. At the request of Eliane, the family will receive friends at the St. Jean-Baptiste Church, Verner, on Saturday January 13th, 2018 after 10:30. Mass of Christian burial will follow at 11:30.
