Parent, Alda Marie (née Courville) 1927 – 2017
The family announces with sorrow her death in Sturgeon Falls, Wednesday May 3rd, 2017 at the age of 90 years. Daughter of the late Jim Courville and of the late Elizabeth (née Comeau) Courville. Predeceased by her husband the late Albert Parent and by her partner the late Oscar Laframboise. Loving mother of Lynda Sura (Mike) of Schumacher, - Michael Sura Jr., Chad Sura; Harvey Parent (Brenda) of Sault Ste Marie, - Albert, Roger, Lisa Repac, Wanda Coutu, Mark, Daniel; Denis Parent (Kathy) of Pontypool, - Ryan, Kyle; mother to Marielle Major (late Mike) of Chelmsford, - Kristine, Monique Harju (Bill) and Guy Laframboise (June) of Sturgeon Falls. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her 14 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by all of her brothers and sisters.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Theoret Bourgeois Funeral Home Sturgeon Falls, Friday May 5, 2017 from 7 to 9 pm. Saturday friends may call after 10 am. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel Saturday 11 am. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. (Cheques only).
