The family announces with sorrow his death in Sudbury, Saturday May 2th 2015 at the age of 76 years. Son of the late Alfred and the late Irmgarten Zoepel. Predeceased by his wife Carole Markusson. Fred is survived by his daughter Sharon Zoepel (Scott Warten) of Boston, Massachusetts, his son Erick Zoepel of Sudbury and their mother Linda Hains of Sudbury. Predeceased by his son Markus. Brother of Stephanie Arns and Burgget both of Germany. Predeceased by his sister Truttea Zoepel. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Madison Ayers-Zoepel (daughter of Marnie), Zachariah Zoepel (son of Roxann), Alex Veaudry, Stephanie Veaudry, Brittany Miron. Lifelong friend of Rolly Pepin, Rolly B., Mike, Stan, Joe, Dan and Jim. Fred enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and his old cars. He looked forward to meeting with friends and sharing stories at the local coffee shop. His family and children were his pride and joy. His greatest passion was for Star Trek and discussions about extraterrestrial life. Fred also loved to travel and always found time to enjoy his hobby, wood carving. He was also well known for being the best story teller. A heartfelt thank you to all his friends for taking care of Fred. A Celebration of Fred’s life will be announced at a later date.
