The family announces with sorrow his death in Sturgeon Falls, Thursday, October 31st 2013, at the age of 79 years. Son of the late James Weightman and of the late Thelma (née Costello) Weightman. Predeceased by his wife Georgette (née Brazeau) Weightman. Loving father of Bryan of Sturgeon Falls and Judy Laberge (Angelo) of Toronto. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Devon and Bobbi-Jo. Also survived by his sisters Lillianne Quenneville (André) of Field, Linda Weightman (Sue) of North Bay and Beverly Martin (Robert) of Burlington. George was a member of the North Bay Cruisers and was very fond of his 64 Thunderbird. He was also an avid Toronto Maple Leaf fan. The family will receive friends at the Théorêt Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls, Sunday November 3rd 2013 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service to be held Monday November 4th 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.
