Gilles Serre (1964-2019)
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gilles Serre (Boubou), at Steadman Hospice in Brandford, ON, on September 2nd, 2019. Survived by his loving wife Sue Serre (Neil) and his son Nicholas (Brooke Mazerolle). Also survived by his siblings Yvon (Catherine), Jean Guy (Jo-Anne), Raymond (Joyce), Michel (Murielle), Robert (Mireille) and Jocelyne Lanouette (Pierre). Predeceased by his parents Fernand and Georgette Serre (nee Martin), and sister Suzanne. He will also be missed by all his nieces and nephews as well as his dog Charcoal. A Catholic mass will be held at Sacré-Coeur Church on Saturday September 14, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. followed by a lunch at the Curling Club. Donations to the Lion’s Foundation of Canada Dog Guides (DOGGUIDES.Com) in Gilles memory would be appreciated.
