The family announces with sorrow her death in Sturgeon Falls, Friday, July 5th, 2019, at the age of 95 years. Daughter of the late Louis and of the late Marie Louise (née Gascon) Gladu. Beloved wife of the late Ovila Desjardins. Loving mother of Lionel (June), Roger (Claudette), Ernest (Sylvia), and Héléne Desjardins-Roy (Pierre). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her 7 grandchildren Emily, Raymond, Richard, Nicole, Christopher, Bryan, and Richard as well as her 11 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her grandson Brian. Dear sister of Fernande Gervais, Lucille Paquette (Jean), Sylvio Gladu, Raymond Gladu, Robert (Claire), Donald (Françoise) and Gérard (Gilberte). Predeceased by her siblings Lionel, Jeannette, Edouard, Claire, Lucien, Armand, Pauline, Aline, Roger and Fernand. The family will receive friends and family at the Théorêt Bourgeois Funeral Home on Saturday, July 13th, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. to 3 p.m. followed by a celebration of life in the funeral home chapel at 3 p.m. Donations to Au Chateau would be appreciated (cheques only)
