Obituary for Angèle Lapointe (née Lavergne)

Angèle Lapointe (née Lavergne), passed away on Monday, February 4th, 2019 in Sudbury at the age of 67 years. She was born January 11, 1952 to her loving parents, late Aldébert Lavergne and late Thérèse Perreault. She married her best friend and love of her life in 1970, Louis Lapointe of Verner. Their unconditional love for each other brought the greatest joy into their lives, loving mother of Michael (Julie) of Sudbury and Allan (Karen) of Garson. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her seven grandchildren Ainsley, Reise, Lola, Ellie, Maxum, Presley and Jaxon. Cherished sister of Roger Lavergne (Olive) and Claire Lavergne all of Sudbury. Predeceased by her brother Daniel.Angèle had a passionate and fulfilling career as a teacher, professor and as a consultant for the Ministry of Education. Her deep love for helping people went far beyond retirement, devoting 20 years with her husband and sons to the foundation and development of Correactology® Health Care and the Canadian Institute of Correactology. Always as a team, they went “above and beyond” sharing their knowledge, love, education and dedication to create the foundation that many utilize today. She will be remembered for her love of life, always willing to listen and to help others, but most of all she was the “best friend” that we all cherished and hold with us today. The Lapointe family will receive friends after 10:30 a.m., Monday February 11, 2019 at the St. Baptiste Church, 27 Principal E, Verner. Funeral Mass will follow at 11 a.m. Funeral and cremation arrangements in care of the Théoret Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls.
