Janveaux, Rodolphe (1939 – 2015)
The family announces with sorrow his death in Utterson, on May 9, 2015 at the age of 75 years. Son of the late Léon Janveaux and of the late Florida (née Prud’homme (Janveaux). Husband of late Noëlla Janveaux (née Bellefeuille). Loving father of Nicole Janveaux (Andrew), Diane Bennett (Michael), Roger Janveaux and Jo-Anne Ritchie (Delemer). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Jefferey, Christian, Brandon, Cassandra, Crystal, Chalese, Jenna, Jessica, Jason as well as by his great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Survived by his brothers and sisters, Janine, Omer (Suzanne), Maurice, Murielle Crowder (Robert), Claude (Lorraine), Denise Amyot (Reg), Moïse (Lucille) and Marie-C. Murray. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters, Ovide (Doris), Ovila (Noëlla), Olive (late George), Virginie Michon (Ronald) and Donald (Claire). Rodolphe was a logger for most of his life. He owned two General stores with his wife Noëlla. He was an avid blueberry picker and became known as the “Blueberry Man” to most. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and loved to play Crib and Bingo. A graveside service will be held at the Ste Marie’s Cemetery, Sturgeon Falls, on Saturday September 17th, 2016 at 12:30 pm. A luncheon will follow at the Théorêt Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. (cheques only).
