Filion,Léo (1957-2018)



The family announces with sorrow his death at home in Sturgeon Falls on Sunday November 4th, 2018 at the age of 61 years. Son of the late Roger Filion and of the late Jeannine Filion (née Dubuc). Beloved husband of Louise Filion (née Tremblay) of Sturgeon Falls. Dear father of Tina Filion (Cory Sohm) of Bonfield and Josée Tremblay (Marc-André Falardeau) of Sudbury. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Anabelle Falardeau, Abby Mcleod and Emily Mcleod. Survived by his siblings Victor Filion (Marie-Claire Roberge), Benoit Filion, Pierrette Filion (Claude Roussy), Roméo Filion (Gisèle Côté-Filion), Roseanne Boisvenue (Denis), Louise Robinson (Sylvain), Angèle Bidal (Robert) and Denis Filion (Mélanie Lanois). The family will receive friends at the Théoret Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls, on Saturday November 10th, 2018 after 9 am. A funeral service will be held at 11am.
