Vézina, Albert (1926-2018)
The family announces with sorrow his death in North Bay on Tuesday July 31st, 2018 at the age of 92 years. Son of the late Albert Vézina sr and of the late Clara Vézina (née Perron). Husband of the late Shirley Campbell and of late Bettyanne Sutton. Dear friend of Rachel Clement of Field. Beloved father of Corinne Martin and Anita Bastien both of Windsor and Jeannetta Vézina (Robert) of St-Charles. Step-father of Kenneth McKinnon of Calgary, Lynn McKinnon (Laurel) of Edmonton and Christine McKinnon (Joanne) of Windsor. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Brother of Rita Martin (Louis) of Windsor, Virginia Bellemare of Calgary, Roger Vézina of Lionshead and Gerald Vézina of St. Thomas. Albert was a well- known local musician who competed in the yearly fiddle festival and he travelled the circuit, performing in many towns throughout Ontario. The family will receive friends at the Theoret Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls, Monday August 6th, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Notre-Dame des Victoires Church, Field on Tuesday August 7th, 2018 at 11 am. Donations to the West Nipissing General Hospital Foundation (cancer services) would be appreciated. (cheques only).
