Commanda, Virginia (1934-2018)
The family announces with sorrow her death in North Bay on Friday April 20th, 2018 at the age of 83 years. Daughter of the late Joseph Alexander Commanda and of the late Mary Commanda (née McLeod). Dear sister of Imelda Marshall. Predeceased by her brothers Renaud, Leopold, Richard and Isadore as well as her sisters Barbara, Maryjane, Mildred and Eleanor. Also survived by her extended family whom she loved Muriel Sawyer and Geraldine McLeod as well as many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Dr. Prins and the staff at Cassellhome for the excellent care provided. Family will receive friends on Monday April 23rd, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9p.m at the Théorêt Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday April 24th, 2018 at 11a.m in Holy Spirit Church, Garden Village. Donations to Holy Spirit Church or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
