Strickland, Lucy (née McGrath) 1920-2018
The family announces with sorrow her death in Sturgeon Falls, Tuesday, April 17th, 2018, at the age of 97 years. Daughter of the late John McGrath and of the late Marguerite (née Sperance). Predeceased by her husband Emile Strickland. Loving mother of André, Betty Serré, Ralph, Emile, Rodney and Jeanne Proulx. Predeceased by her children Georges, Jerome, Adrien and John. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her 19 grand-children and her 8 great grand-children. Dear sister of David, Christabell Conway, and Edward. Lucy is also predeceased by her 4 brothers George, Donald, John and Patrick as well as by her sister Dorothy. The family will receive friends at the Théorêt-Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls, Friday, April 20th, 2018 from 2pm to 5pm and 7pm to 9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday April 21st, 2018 at 11am in Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Sturgeon Falls. Mass offerings would be appreciated by the family.
