Gauthier, Fernande (née Séguin) 1929-2018
The family announces with sorrow her death in Sturgeon Falls, Wednesday January 10, 2018 at the age of 88 years. Daughter of the late Raoul Séguin and of the late Georgiana (née Cusson) Séguin. Predeceased by her first husband Claude Larcher and also by her second husband Henri Gauthier. Loving mother of Claudette Legault (Robert) of River Valley, Richard Larcher (Lorraine), Lise Gauvreau (Denis), Gerry Larcher (Lorie), Michel Larcher (Joanne), Suzette Côté (Maurice), and Robert Larcher (Diane) all of Sturgeon Falls. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her 13 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 2 great great- grandchildren. Predeceased by her brothers Antoine Séguin, Fernand Séguin and by her sisters Geneviève Pilon, Laurette Leblanc, Claire Boisvenue, Antoinette Bigras. Fernande was a loving mother, grandmother and friend who deeply cherished many special moments with all of her family. You have left us a beautiful lesson of life with your courage, your perseverance and especially your love. In our hearts forever, your memories will be forever engraved! How lucky to have had such a generous mother and grandmother! The family wishes to acknowledge the exceptional care provided by staff at Au Château Home for the Aged to Fernande. For their dedication, sensitivity, commitment to overcoming their challenges, we are extremely grateful. The family will receive friends at the Théoret Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls, Saturday January 20, 2018 from 9 am. until 11 am. The funeral service will be held Saturday January 20, 2018 at 11 am in the funeral home chapel. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated. (Cheques Only).
