Commanda, Alexander (1943-2017)
The family announces with sorrow his death in North Bay, Friday, December 29, 2017 at the age of 74 years. Son of the late David and the late Theresa Commanda (née Larivière). Loving husband of Lorraine Commanda (née Penasse) of Garden Village. Dear father of Jane (Marc), Theresa (Bruce), Mike, Rhonda (Randy), Chris (Henrietta) all of Garden Village, Lindsay (Ben) of Orillia and Shelley (Brendan) of Brampton. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his 16 grandchildren and by his 8 great grandchildren. Also survived by his two sisters, Veronica Lindsay and Bernadette Restoule. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters, Edward, Charlotte McLeod, Fred, Bella Goulais, Valerian, John, Harold, Ronald, Louis and baby boy. The Commanda family will receive friends in Holy Spirit Church, Garden Village, Tuesday, January 2nd and Wednesday January 3rd 2018 from 2 until 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, January 4th 2018 at 11 am. in Holy Spirit Church, Garden Village.
