Serré, Grace (née Carswell) 1931 – 2017
The family announces with sadness her death in Sturgeon Falls, on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at the age of 86 years. Daughter of the late Benjamin Carswell and of the late Helen (née Mephan) Carswell. Predeceased by her husband Marcel Serré. Loving mother of Dale Brown of Sturgeon Falls, Grant Brown of Elliot Lake, Carol Ann Legault of Sturgeon Falls and Wendy Brown of London-ON. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Nicole of Cornerbrook-NL, Jerry of Espanola, Erin of Oakville, David and Mindy of Sturgeon Falls and McKenzie of B.C. Predeceased by her granddaughter, Rhonda and by her brothers, Robert “Bob”, Fredrerick “Fred” (Rolande Carswell), Ernie and Douglas. The family will receive relatives and friends at St Andrew’s United Church, Sturgeon Falls, on Saturday, September 2nd, 2017 after 12:30 pm. A Funeral Service will follow at 1 pm. Donations to a Charity of choice would be appreciated (cheques only). Funeral and cremation arrangements entrusted to Theoret Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls.
