Butchart, Richard 1950 – 2017
The family announces with sadness his death in Sturgeon Falls, Thursday, August 3, 2017 at the age of 67 years. Son of the late Edward Butchart and of the late Theresa (née Kjeldson) Butchart. Loving husband of Marie-Lise (née Bazinet) Butchart. Cherished father of Jason (Claudine) of North Bay, André (Alexandra) of Azilda, Tairn (Venessa) and Derek both of Sturgeon Falls. Predeceased by his son, Stéphane and his daughter Sonia. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his five grandchildren, Nathan, Gage, Adam, Liam and Willow. Survived by his brother, Gary and his sister Linda both from B.C.
Predeceased by his brother, Kim. The family will receive relatives and friends at Ste Thérèse d’Avila Church, Cache Bay, Monday, August 7, 2017 after 10 am. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 am. Donations to Richard’s Trust Fund for helping families battling cancer would be appreciated. (Chèques only).
