Diotte, Alice (née Vanbetlehem) 1958-2016
The family announces with sorrow her death in Sudbury, Tuesday, November 29th 2016 at the age of 58 years. Daughter of the late Gerald Vanbetlehem and of the late Agnes Vanbetlehem (née Brinkman) (friend Dennis). Loving wife of Richard Diotte of Sudbury. Dear mother of Aimée Diotte-Pigeon (Robert) and Charlotte Diotte (Christopher) both of Sudbury. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Also survived by her brother and sisters Helen Mullenix (David) of Kincardine, Frank Vanbetlehem (Jacqueline) of Oakville and Linda Semple (Phil) of Etobicoke. Alice was a proud employee of the Canadian Mental Health Association, having recently been awarded her fifteen year pin. She was an avid reader and cat lover. The Diotte family will receive friends after 10 am, Monday December 5, 2016 at la paroisse de L’Annonciation, 1168 Northway avenue. Mass of Christian burial will follow at 11 am. Donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association would be appreciated (cheques only).
