The family announces with sorrow her death in North Bay, Monday March 2, 2015 at the age of 87 years. Daughter of the late Roy Mercer and of the late Jane Mercer. Predeceased by her husband Emery Ketchabaw. Loving mother of Larry (Marsha) of Monetville. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Karen Morris (Rodney), Kevin Ketchabaw both of Sturgeon Falls and by her 5 great grandchildren Robert, Marissa, George, Eric and Kenneth. Predeceased by her brothers Harry (Betty of Tillsonburg) and Lorne (Evelyn of Ingersol). Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Bertie was a school bus driver for the Sudbury Board of Education for 15 years with a perfect “no accident” safe driving record. She loved to bake and participating in yard sales. The family will receive friends at the Community of Christ Church, Monetville Wednesday March 4th 2015 from 7:00 to 9:00. Thursday friends may call after 1:30.
