O’Neil, Rita (née Ratelle) 1931 – 2014
The family announces with sorrow her death in Sturgeon Falls, on Wednesday, February 25, 2014 at the age of 82 years. Daughter of the late Harmidas Ratelle and of the late Lucille (née Larcher) Ratelle. Wife of the late Kenneth O’Neil. Cherished mother of René O’Neil (Suzette) of Sturgeon Falls, Elizabeth “Liz” O’Neil of Ottawa, Kathy Trépanier (François) of River Valley, Kenneth Jr. O’Neil (Joanne) of Ottawa, Lucy O’Neil of Calgary AB, Gloria Baggs (Dale) of Kingston and Patrick O’Neil of Windsor. Predeceased by her daughter Holly O’Neil. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her 10 grandchildren and by her 10 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Henry Ratelle and Johnny Ratelle both of Barrie and Lorence Rollins of Garson. Predeceased by her brothers, René Ratelle, Maurice Ratelle Gerald Ratelle and by her sister Dorine Lavallée. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Sorrow’s Church, Saturday, March 8, 2014 at 11 am. Donations to the Kidney Foundation or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
